Our Story
Donatelli Coules McGinnis & Schroeder, Ltd. was established in December, 1994 as Donatelli & Coules, Ltd. by Mark Donatelli and Peter Coules, Jr. Mark and Peter have been practicing law together in Hinsdale since that time. Patrick C. McGinnis joined the Firm as an associate attorney in July, 2016, and is a partner as of July, 2022, R. Matthew Schroeder joined the Firm as a partner in May, 2023, and Kathleen M. McGovern joined the Firm as an associate attorney in February, 2020. The firm changed its name in 2025 to Donatelli Coules McGinnis & Schroeder, Ltd., making Patrick C. McGinnis and R. Matthew Schroeder named partners, highlighting the Firm’s commitment to a long future of serving its clients.
